Eat, Buy Local: Georgia Farmers Market Guide 2022

GEORGIA — Farmers’ markets are a sign of spring in Georgia, bringing shoppers together with neighbors and rural producers. With summer officially starting in a few weeks, most weekly markets are open or will be by the end of this week.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture has compiled a list of community farmers markets where farmers can sell directly to their neighbors. They are often operated by non-profit organizations or local governments.

The Centers for Disease Control say outdoor farmers’ markets are a “lower-risk shopping option” that benefits both shoppers and the community.
