Farmer’s Market returns to Deerfields Mall in Abu Dhabi after two-year hiatus

Those looking to shop locally in Abu Dhabi will have the opportunity to do so with the return of the Farmers’ Market at Deerfields Mall.

After a two-year hiatus, the event, which hosts more than 20 local farmers, will return and is expected to run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until March 31.

Expect to find locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as stalls that sell locally made crafts and accessories.

To celebrate the relaunch of the market, there will be entertainment this Friday and Saturday.

Children can also have fun by taking advantage of the activities offered on site, including games and giant bouncy castles until Monday, January 31.

“We are extremely happy to bring back the Farmers Market after its success in 2019,” said Mohammed Al Haj, General Manager of Deerfields Mall. “As a shopping center located in the heart of the Deerfields community, we are proud to develop initiatives that engage residents of surrounding areas and give back to those who continue to serve us and Abu Dhabi.

“Locally grown and purchased products are important to Abu Dhabi’s sustainability goals, and we are grateful that we can play a role with the farmers market. We can’t wait to see everyone there.

The market will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Al Hosn Green Pass is required to enter the mall, and visitors will go through temperature control to enter. Face masks and social distancing are mandatory.
