Free vouchers available for Saturday Farmer’s Market in Red Bluff – Red Bluff Daily News

Tehama County households are encouraged to register for free $25 vouchers to use at the Saturday Farmer’s Market at River Park in Red Bluff on July 23-30 and August 6-13.
This program is intended to support the efforts of local farmers to provide fresh produce and meat to families in Tehama County,
Tehama Together and the Johnson Family Foundation will provide 200 farmers with $25 market vouchers. Vouchers will be designated for use the last two Saturdays in July and the first two Saturdays in August.
To obtain a voucher, call 2-1-1, provide your name, email address, phone number and desired date of purchase. Vouchers are awarded on a first come, first scheduled basis and are limited to one per household. 2-1-1 is Tehama County’s free and confidential source, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for information and referral resources.
Vouchers can be picked up at the Farmers Market Manager’s Stand from 8am for pre-registered households.
Vouchers can be used to purchase fruit, vegetables, meat, nuts and honey on the Saturday designated for your voucher. Vouchers are not valid for other farmer’s market days other than those scheduled.
In addition to the free vouchers, information will be available regarding the state’s emergency preparedness program and 2-1-1.
Tehama Together, an all-volunteer non-profit organization, which sponsors this voucher program as part of its garden mentorship program.
