Navarro County Farmers Market

The Navarro County Farmer’s Market is open 7 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Saturday at the corner of Business 45 and East Sixth Avenue in Corsicana.

Mimosas at the market

Join the Corsicana Main Street Program from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the second Saturday of each month for a morning of shopping with friends and sipping mimosas at Downtown Corsicana. Here you’ll find a vendor’s market filled with handcrafted items from southern artisans, as well as charming downtown retail outlets. Mark your calendars and invite your friends. IOOF Trade Days

The IOOF Events Center hosts an outdoor market every third Saturday of the month from 9am to 3pm during IOOF Trade Days. Located at 601 N. 45th in Corsicana. Registration for the Kerens Red Brick Classic Car Show and Fish Fry is 9 a.m. to noon, Catfish Lunch is 11 a.m.

Hubbard Memorial Day weekend events May 28-30. The festivities begin Saturday morning with the Hubbard FFA serving breakfast burritos at the Hubbard City Civic Center in downtown Hubbard at 300 Magnolia Avenue. The rodeo will begin Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday evening at 7 p.m. The Mooney Holloway Arena is located on Highway 31 East. At 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 29, Bethel AME Church will celebrate Women’s Mission Day. The speaker will be Missionary Goldie Hill of Fairfield Church of God in Christ. The public is invited.

Memorial Day program at the Kerens Veterans Memorial at 10:30 a.m. Inauguration of the Kerens Veterans Military Museum after the program.

June 1

There will be a meeting of the Navarro County Genealogical Society at 10:00 a.m. on June 11 at the Corsicana Library. Special guest Ron Maxfield will host the program. He will talk about the Opera of Corsicana and will have one of his miniatures to see. Everyone is invited.

Midway Cemetery and Church will host their annual memorial services on Sunday, June 12. The religious service will begin at 11 a.m. The service will be followed by a short business meeting. Lunch will begin after the meeting in the picnic area. Please bring food, drink and associated picnic supplies for your own family.
