The Coventry Winter Farmer’s Market is held Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Patriots Park Lodge, 172 Lake St., until March 27.
Vendors include 18th century Purity Farms offering unique and heritage varieties of produce; Blook Bake Shop offering a variety of treats; Culinary Expressions selling baked goods, jams and prepared meals; Dragon’s Blood Elixir which makes artisanal hot sauces, condiments, chutneys and barbecue sauces; New Park Brewing with its latest batches of beers and ales; and Perfect Poundcakes with interesting baked goods.
The Storrs Winter Farmers Market has two locations: in the auditorium of the Mansfield Public Library, 54 Warrenville Road, Mansfield Center, and outside on the lawn near City Hall.
Both locations allow vendors to be in the location that is most convenient for them and give the market the ability to have more guest vendors in the auditorium throughout the winter.
The market is open the first and third Saturdays of the month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. until April 16. The next market will be on February 5.
The obligation to wear a city mask is in effect inside.
The Ellington Indoor Winter Farmers Market will be held Feb. 5 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Ellington High School Gymnasium, 37 Maple Street.
Over 30 vendors sell local and fresh produce, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, eggs, baked goods, prepared meals, sauces, elixirs, honey, maple syrup, etc.
